Join the Sunday Finish Line Party!! Services at the start area include Breakfast and Lunch concessions, T-shirt sales, Port-a-potties, Warming and Storage tents plus music and ongoing Results announcements. Winner Awards Ceremony scheduled for 1 pm.

3 - What is the itinerary on Race Day?

Pre-Race Stretch: 9:30 am

Race Start Time: 10 am
Fernie Annex Park
Park Entrance – 10th Street and 12th Avenue

The run starts and finishes in Fernie’s Annex Park, at 10th Street and 12th Avenue, which is located along the Elk River a few blocks off Highway #3. The run starts at 10 am and the event continues through the morning with awards set for 1 pm in the park.

Late Registration at the park at 9 am. Registration is officially closed at 9 am.

Awards will be given to the top three finishers in the Women and Men Solo categories and the top finishers in the Female Team, Male Team, Mixed Team  and Student Team categories.

Services at the start area include Breakfast and Lunch concessions, T-shirt sales, Port-a-potties, Warming and Storage tents plus music and ongoing Results announcements. Come for the run but stay for the afternoon fun!

4 - What are the Race Fees?

Fees for the 2012 Fernie Half Marathon
Solo Runner: $60 with Race Shirt; $40 no shirt
Teams of 3 Runners: $180 with Race Shirts; $120 no shirts

Race Shirts will be a long-sleeved driwik technical running shirt. Sizing details are located at the bottom of this page.

5 - What if I have to cancel my registration?

Sorry but we are unable to offer refunds. Thank you for supporting local children’s programming.

6 - Are there any restrictions I should know about?

Please avold using earbuds and ipods - you need to hear approaching runners and any instructions from volunteers on the course.

Please leave your dogs at home. No dogs will be allowed in the Park on Race Day.

7 - How do I get a T-shirt?

You must register by September 10, 2012 to receive a t-shirt with your registration. Limited quantities of shirts may be available for sale race weekend depending on availability. The Fernie Half Marathon Shirt is always a high quality dri-wick technical shirt that is great to use for all sports. Click on the attachments below for sizes. Colours vary each year.

Shirt size ordered will be the size you receive. The Fernie Half Marathon cannot be held responsible for factory sizing.
