FERNIE HALF MARATHON SUNDAY OCTOBER 3
RUNNER'S EXPO AND FORUM SET FOR OCTOBER 2!
This year's Pre-Registration and Expo is set to go on Saturday October 2. Runners will be able to pick up their Registration Packages the day before the race so they can concentrate on the Race the next morning. This year we are hoping to host a Runner's Forum featuring a special sports training speaker. The Expo will again feature not only Fernie's hottest sports stores but local health specialists as well.
To receive a great FHM Dri-wik long-sleeve running shirt you must register by September 22,2010.
The course will again be all-trail and offer scenic views of the Elk River, all the surrounding mountains as well as a tour of Fernie's great parks.
Awards will be presented to the following runners after the race:
• Fastest female
• Fastest male
• Fastest team of 3
Results will also be provided by gender and age category.

The Fernie Half Marathon strives to support local non-profit organizations. Proceeds from the 2010 Fernie Half Marathon will benefit local childrens' programming including the Fernie Heritage Library.
